  • Instead, during more than a week playing NHL 19, I’ve spent the vast majority of my hours in World of Chel, the new online hub. In some capacity, World of Chel is simply a smart way for EA to reuse existing elements of the NHL series in a much more enticing package. But I did not expect to get so deeply invested in NHL 19’s online modes. There are absolutely no microtransactions in World of Chel, which, these days, is a pleasant surprise and a cause for celebration. All games in World of Chel pl

This is a new game, which means Luigi’s Mansion is coming back to consoles for the first time since the original Nintendo GameCube title. There’s now a multiplayer feature much like Luigi’s previous 3DS game, Luigi’s Mansion 2: Dark Moon. Anywa

No, it’s not a totally new game in the series — we haven’t had one of those on console in a long, long time — but OG Katamari Damacy on Switch? Katamari Damacy was followed on PlayStation 2 by We Love Katamari, another fantastic entry in this very odd puzzle series. Update: Bandai Namco announced that Katamari Damacy Reroll will also launch on Windows PC.

Like a typical city management game, Cities: Skylines focuses on many different aspects of city-building and urban planning, but is notable for including day-to-day urban occurrences, such as traffic congestion. Though the SimCity series had previously held a monopoly on the genre, Cities: Skylines rocketed to success after the 2013 SimCity game’s failure.

  • The game’s official account admonished a fan for stating that they wanted to see more at Gamescom from the “guys” at CD Projekt Red, the studio developing the game. Think about what the “joke” actually says, though. To its credit, CD Projekt Red quickly responded to criticism and took the tweet down. If gaming companies have to watch what they say, does that mean people who play games may need to think about what they say next? The jokes used by CD Projekt Red and others don’t stand alone, but e
