When Activision announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 would have a battle royale mode, I was supremely skeptical. This new take on the battle royale genre, called Blackout, is exceptional. Unlike other battle royale games, this wingsuit gives you incredible speed and range. That aspect alone should give veterans of the battle royale genre pause. Pickups that my fireteam discovered included the Monkey Bomb from Call of Duty’s famous Nazi Zombies mode, which launched 10 years ago this year.

Epic Game’s Summer Skirmish, the developer’s first long-term Fortnite competition, came to an end just a few weeks ago at PAX West. But Epic is wasting no time gearing up for the next competition, as the developer announced on Twitter on Monday afternoon that the Fall Skirmish event would be starting soon.
