Team Liquid has announced the final member of the organization’s starting League of Legends roster: Jung “Impact” Eon-yeong. Jung is known for being one of the season 3 World Champions on SKTelecom T1, though he moved to North America in season 5. He played for Team Impulse and it’s rebrand, NRG Esports, before he moved on to Cloud9 in season 7. Just a few days after 2017 World Championship runner-up SK telecom T1 announced the departure of jungler Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, the 19-year-old has been signed by fellow LCK team, Longzhu Gaming. Cloud9 has announced their newest player ahead of the 2018 season with a short video introducing Dennis “Svenskeren” Johnsen. Johnsen was previously a member of Team SoloMid and competed against Cloud9 in two NA LCS Finals. Johnsen will be replacing Cloud9’s former jungler, Juan “Contractz” Garcia as the starter for the roster. The Runes Reforged update was close to starting from scratch. A complete rebuild of the runes and masteries support structure is a massive undertaking, one that Riot wanted to take seriously. The process was clumsy and unfriendly, but Runes Reforged aims to fix all that. With Runes Reforged being added in, this disaster timeline could be far longer than average. Just as every new champion raises the question “I wonder what they do next,” so do major system updates like Runes Reforged.
